Ingredients
For Hibiscus Tea Concentrate:
- 1 cup dried hibiscus petals
- 4 cups water
For Lemonade:
- 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 3-4 lemons)
- 1 cup hibiscus tea concentrate
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- 4 cups cold water
- Ice cubes
- Lemon slices and hibiscus petals for garnish (optional)
- Mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Preparation
1. Prepare Hibiscus Tea Concentrate:
1. Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a pot.
2. Add the dried hibiscus petals to the boiling water.
3. Reduce the heat to low and let the hibiscus petals simmer for about 10-15 minutes.
4. Remove the pot from heat and let the hibiscus tea steep for an additional 15-20 minutes.

3. Add 4 cups of cold water to the pitcher and stir to combine.
4. Taste the lemonade and adjust the sweetness or tartness by adding more sugar or lemon juice if desired.

1. Fill glasses with ice cubes.
2. Pour the hibiscus lemonade over the ice.
3. Garnish with lemon slices, a few hibiscus petals, and mint leaves if desired.
